    Each inspection will be conducted by Keith Standera, who has over 20 years' experience in the home construction industry.

    A licensed Master Electrician, Keith knows the National Electric Code and can identify any electrical shortcoming.  As a carpenter, he has constructed over thirty houses from the foundation to the roof, and everything in between.

    This experience in construction is vital to the customer.  Each inspection is treated as an educational experience.  There are many items that may need simple maintenance as well as preventative maintenance to keep that in top-notch condition. An inspector who has worked on hundreds of houses has much more knowledge about fixing and repairing items that an inspector who does not have any construction experience.

Education

    Keith has taken an intensive 140-hour, 15-step course detailing the major sections of residential houses, as well as multi-family and commercial buildings.

    His education is continuing as new products and construction methods evolve.  His licensing by the State of New York requires 22 hours of education every year.  Keith is a candidate member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and is required to attend 20 hours of additional training annually.
